Privacy policy

1. What we collect

Account: your email address, a hashed password (we never store it in plain text) and whether you are a candidate or a recruiter. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

Candidate profile: what you enter — name, phone, location, headline, skills, work history, education, projects, languages, career preferences — and the resume you upload. Some optional fields (date of birth, gender, category) are never shown to employers.

Recruiters and companies: your name, phone and designation; company details; verification documents (such as PAN or GST certificate); billing details for GST invoices.

Activity: jobs you view, save and apply to, and applications you receive, so the product can work and show you useful numbers.

Payments: order and payment IDs and amounts from Razorpay. Card and bank details go to Razorpay only; we never receive them.

2. Why we use it

To run the portal: show jobs, send applications, let employers review applicants, and send the emails and notifications you expect (verification, applications, status changes, plan reminders).

To match candidates and jobs: we use AI models to suggest jobs, rank applicants and help write job descriptions. Profile text may be processed by our AI provider (Google Gemini) for this; it is not used to advertise to you.

To keep the portal safe: verify companies, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal and tax obligations (for example GST invoices).

3. Who can see your data

When a candidate applies to a job, that company sees the full profile and resume.

A public candidate profile appears masked in the employer candidate database (no name, contact details or employer names). A verified company can unlock it with a credit, after which that company sees the full profile. A private profile does not appear in the database.

Service providers that run parts of the portal for us: hosting, email delivery, file storage, payments (Razorpay) and AI (Google). They may use the data only to provide their service to us.

We do not sell personal data.

4. Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to secure your session. We do not use advertising cookies.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. Payment and invoice records are kept for as long as tax law requires. When you ask us to close your account we delete or anonymise the rest, except what we must keep by law.

6. Your choices and rights

You can see and edit your profile at any time. You can ask us to make your profile private, to delete your resume, for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account.

Write to info@bluebraintech.com from the email address on your account. We reply within 30 days.

7. Security

Data is sent over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, resumes and documents are kept in private storage and opened only through short-lived signed links, and access inside the company is limited to people who need it.

8. Changes

This policy is published by BlueBrain Technologies. If we change it in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change applies.
